they make millions a year though cuz they have their own market, niche, brand, and following. i'm still building my own, but i do what i do cuz that's me. i stand out and hold my own. one has to be his or herself to make it in showbiz. it's easy for you to criticize cuz u're not in the biz and not informed enough to make comments, and that's fine too. everyone has their own opinion and you're entitled to it--informed or uninformed.

One thing i think would add to it (not that you need it) is, instead of sort of producing the panties as she walked away, maybe thank her and as you put your hand on her shoulder (or whatever) to lead her off stage you let the panties drop into view, so when she walks away they are revealed to just be hanging there in your hand.

what's 333 years of spanish rule where filipinos didn't want to have intercourse with spaniards and were just forced to. compared to thousands of years of chinese, taiwanese, malaysian, indonsian history. it just so happens that spain did a good job in trying to erase philippines history before the time they claimed that magellan discovered the philippines. fortunately philippines neighboring countries kept historic records.

Do you mean that I ripped off his act or the concept of comedy magic? Does the Amazing Johnathan do a funny sponge ball routine or make a sponge penis appear in his act? Does he steal panties and seal them in a Ziploc bag? Nope--none of the above. If you're referring to the rubber dove gag that I supposedly ripped off, I didn't rip it off. You can't rip off a stock gag (standard gag). That means it's open and free for any magician to use in the magic community.
It's such a classic gag that it is now public domain. That's why you see the Amazing Johnathan do the rubber dove gag, but he has his own take on it when he asks, "Do you like birds?", flips off the spectator, and then crushes the rubber dove filled with feathers. Other comedy magicians do the rubber dove gag like Chris Mitchell. They do their own presentations of the gag or perform it the classic way. For example I perform my own comedic presentation of a classic magic trick--sponge balls.
Other magicians do sponge ball routines. The video above shows how I perform mine. Also comedy magic has been around for years. The Amazing Johnathan didn't invent the concept of it. He does his own extreme, bizzare style of it. There were some comedy magicians before his time like Carl Ballantine and during his time like Harry Anderson, Ed Alonzo, Dana Daniels, Chipper Lowell, Fielding West, Mac King, John Carney a.k.a. Mr. Mysto, etc. They've all been doing it professionally for years.
As a matter of fact Mac King has been headlining the Vegas strip at Harrah's with his own one-man comedy magic afternoon show since January of 2009. I haven't ripped off anything from the Amazing Johnathan. Although I have been described as an ethnic version of the Amazing Jonathan but with less blood and better magic, which I take as a big compliment because he's one of my major influences. Rather than imitate I was inspired to do my own brand as the next generation of comedy and magic.
I wouldn't waste your time on haters .... you'll go crazy. Get a pseudynm when doing stuff online and you can then do your 'research' from a safe distance.

Yes, look up the Catálogo alfabético de apellidos, or Alphabetical Catalog of Surnames... Most Filipinos have no Spanish ancestry, but names are common. It's a part of Filipino history that isn't well remembered.

Dude how old r u, 12? Cant take sum criticism... I did say I liked your stuff but it was like the Amazing Johnathan. Which I have paid to see 3 times already in Vegas when he was at the flamingo. Anyway... Jus do your thing and learn to take "All" criticism. Don't let any of these comments bother jus take it and let it make you a better magician. trust me. i can definitely take criticism. i wouldn't be where i am without it. i give A LOT of criticism to other magicians and comedians ALL THE TIME as well as long as it's constructive. i can take criticism with a valid basis; however, you didn't criticize me. you just accused me of ripping off the amazing johnathan's act, which is an absolute lie. in your last commeny, you never said i was like him but that I stole his act. if you told me i'm not funny or good at all, i'll take that.

that's fine with me. can't please everybody. comedy and magic is very subjective. if your comments did bother me, i would have personally attacked you, but i didn't. i stuck to the point and made a valid argument in this comment and the last one. by the way part of the entertainment business is answering and dealing with critics. just because i responded to you doesn't mean i'm bothered or can't take criticism. i'm far from "trippin". this is a debate. every side gets to have a say.

Do you mean that I ripped off his act or the concept of comedy magic? Does the Amazing Johnathan do a funny sponge ball routine or make a sponge penis appear in his act? Does he steal panties and seal them in a Ziploc bag? Nope--none of the above. If you're referring to the rubber dove gag that I supposedly ripped off, I didn't rip it off. You can't rip off a stock gag (standard gag). That means it's open and free for any magician to use in the magic community.

It's such a classic gag that it is now public domain. That's why you see the Amazing Johnathan do the rubber dove gag, but he has his own take on it when he asks, "Do you like birds?", flips off the spectator, and then crushes the rubber dove filled with feathers. Other comedy magicians do the rubber dove gag like Chris Mitchell. They do their own presentations of the gag or perform it the classic way. For example I perform my own comedic presentation of a classic magic trick--sponge balls.

Other magicians do sponge ball routines. The video above shows how I perform mine. Also comedy magic has been around for years. The Amazing Johnathan didn't invent the concept of it. He does his own extreme, bizzare style of it. There were some comedy magicians before his time like Carl Ballantine and during his time like Harry Anderson, Ed Alonzo, Dana Daniels, Chipper Lowell, Fielding West, Mac King, John Carney a.k.a. Mr. Mysto, etc. They've all been doing it professionally for years.

As a matter of fact Mac King has been headlining the Vegas strip at Harrah's with his own one-man comedy magic afternoon show since January of 2009. I haven't ripped off anything from the Amazing Johnathan. Although I have been described as an ethnic version of the Amazing Jonathan but with less blood and better magic, which I take as a big compliment because he's one of my major influences. Rather than imitate I was inspired to do my own brand as the next generation of comedy and magic.

other kinds of shows--asian, black, female, gay, variety, etc. i do black clubs, asian shows, and all other kinds of shows. it really doesn't matter what kind of show it is or what kind of audience is at the show. an asian show will have more asian comics and more asian people watching the show, but it's not limited to just asian people. the jokes aren't only for asians to understand. for the most part funny is funny, and all ethnicities are welcomed. the same goes for a latin show. that's why..

Yes, look up the Catálogo alfabético de apellidos, or Alphabetical Catalog of Surnames... Most Filipinos have no Spanish ancestry, but names are common. It's a part of Filipino history that isn't well remembered.

I'm filipino and I have many relatives that are spanish or have spanish decent in the philippines...They can speak both the spanish and filipino language.The spanish ruled the philippines for many century, and many still live there. There is still many parts in the philippines that are mostly inhabited by filipino people with spanish decent they are called "Mestizos."

Your reply shows that you are the ignorant one, filipino shit. I haven't said anything that doesn't acknowledge the fact that some filipinos have Spanish ancestry (however small). But, Most DO NOT. And most know zero Spanish - other than small words (which aren't pronounced correctly).
