Most people find "exploration" type games boring today. While limbo of the lost was not a good game, it had the right idea. Most people would rather mindlessly shoot a hundred enemies by clicking two buttons then spend five minutes solving a puzzle with their brain. Again, not a good game, but the right idea.

This from the "developer", excuse me, a copypasteur, who apparently hates walkthroughs and spoilers. Game design lesson #1: If you don't want the players to run screaming and half-insane to GameFAQs (or nuke their hard drives in disgust), make sure your puzzles make some gosh-darn-frigging sense.
