While Prophet Muhammad PBUH engaged in conversation with them the Christian delegation got up to go for Mass prayer .on observation Prophet Muhammad PBUH invited them to perform the prayer in the premises of the Mosque itself. This very clearly indicates the magnanimity and tolerance of Prophet Muhammad PBUH towards other faiths.

The debate ended when he brought up nicea. he is needs to do more research, my mom taught me the trinity since i was 5 and i had no problem with it, saying you can't understand is being hypocritical because no muslim can explain how God can be everywhere at once, how he processes information, and why being in a pillar of fire is more demeaning than being in a mans body.

Actually H20 would be a elementary analogy of the Trinity. water is H20, ice is H20, and steam is H20. They are not three seperate H20's, but H20 is by itself an element, but yet can exist in water, ice, and steam.

Talking about the "trinity" is crucial to christian s faith, on the other, believing that God has a leg or not (which you misunderstood anyway) IS NOT crucial to muslim faith.Ask yourself this question, what's the purpose of "God" to split into 3 forms?And keep the other two ill informed and unprapared?

@josephbel Josephbel, it's impossable to try to explain the trinity to Muslims, because even you're Quran doesn't understand it and it is supposed to be the word of God.. You're Quran says that the Trinity is Father, Son and Mother, which is wrong.

@josephbel The problem is, Catholicism was never in Arabia! That's the problem, Catholics don't claim Mary is a God besides Jesus, my parents are Catholic I think i know what i believe. Catholics ask Mary to pray for them that is why they pray to her, because they think that she is closer to Jesus then us, therefore he will answer our prayers because of his beloved mother. It means whoever wrote the Quran never understand what the Trinity was.

@josephbel Catholics don't believe that the Trinity is the: Father, Son, and the Mother this is how ignorant the person who wrote the Quran, and how you haven't done the research about the Catholic Church and what they really believe. So if you're going to say that the verse is about Catholics then it simply fails miserably, they are many Muslim arguments on Surah 5:116 that Muslims will try to give and yours is possibly the worst.

So God asked Jesus if he ever said to his people to either orship him or his mother, this has nothing to do the trinity, the word trinity in arabic is Talata. I said MOTHER OF GOD (NOT GOD) why do you say things I never wrote?

@josephbel First of all Catholics don't say Mary is a "God" or that Mary is a part of the Trinity, the verse from the Quran says this: The trinity is the Father, the son and the Mother, this is not what Christians believe so you're Quran misreprents what Christians believe, it means whoever wrote the Quran was ignorant of what Orthodox Christianity believes, therefore it cannot be trusted.
