Its not that the second one is better, it just has more playability. It has more factions, powers, and create a hero. The second one is all about skirmishes and the first one focuses more on siege and castles and has a much more fun campaign.

hes right first games campaign much more fun, because you can play with the fellowship and in bfme 2 not, but a - on bfme 1 is that you cant build your structures were you want them, only at specific places, that why i bought bfme 2 game is worth trying.

the wood elves are the most dangerous elves. orcs should not go into mirkwood...unless they have 10000 men, because not they will die before they see who killed them...stealth mode.
