Hi easybeat, i think #44 is my father Christopher Gregory on a 125 Bamtam... I'll ask him to be totally sure... great montage, really of the day; nice to see colour photography from 68
Some bike enthusiast friends of mine actually know the woman wearing jeans seen being interviewed and have identified some of the riders. The camera would probably have been a Nikon F SLR. The film would most likely have been bought-in by Ilford as they were black & white specialists. They're still in business but this must be a struggle with the rise of digital photography.
Sadly not. My father (a salesman, not a photographer!) used to do some work at the TTs for Ilford Films in the late 1960s but these are the only photos I've ever seen from those assignments.
Happy Memories.....I was there-in my twenties...Some nice pictures..
Thanks!
