  • The reality is that the police had a choice:They could arrest and then seek evidence OR gather evidence and then arrest. They chose the latter, and with HINDSIGHT this was probably the wrong decision. Contrary to the constant suggestion by Bashir, the MacPherson IInquiry found NO evidence of racism on the part of ANY of the investigating officers.

He is FACTUALLY wrong to suggest otherwise.

If any viewer disagrees, I would advise them to read the MacPherson Report.

    Bashirs questioning is abysmal

  • what they did was wrong, there going to hell.

  • must admit it is strang they never mentioned the murder once in the surveillance footage .ide have thought it would have been the main topic of conversation . murderers always like to talk and reminise about their crimes especially these deranged fuckers.

  • @vespasianlegx11

    My thoughts exactly.

  • so that footage was from a year after the killing? and they're talking hypothetically about killing blacks. surely if they were guilty, they'd be ''reminiscing" so to speak on their acts. what they said was evil and hateful and wrong. but it doesn't mean they did it

  • is there anywhere on the internet about what a psychologist who studies body language has to say about the interviews of these arrogant bastards. it would be interesting to know what they think of it. i have studied a bit of body language and psychology, and watching the interview, i can see some characteristics of lying, i.e. licking their lips, clearing their throat, using the interviewers name when answering etc. just wondered if there was something about studying this programme.

  • @michelle88960 Not being cheeky, but have you watched Lie to me? Not trivialising this case, but at the same time, the show was very good and highlighted all the things concerning body language. These thugs had guilty written all over them

  • @deptford Agreed, I noticed one of the guys put his hand to his mouth to feign a cough...I read a book on body language and a common trait of liars is that they feel an instinctive and near uncontrollable need to cover their mouths with their hand, and pretending to couth gives them an excuse to do so

  • @deptford

no i've not heard of that programme. i will look it up. thanks. it's fascinating watching peoples body language. as much as we try not to show we're lying, we always send off the signals that give us away. i will definitely look up lie to me.

  • @michelle88960 /watch?v=ZltmVab-y90

  • @deptford

thanks for the link. i have never heard of this programme. but i will now look it up and watch some episodes. body language is very interesting. and yeah, them thugs are definitely guilty.

  • @michelle88960 Enjoy. And these thugs are guilty as hell

  • enjoy ur new life lads 2 down 3 2 go

  • its kind of strange though, the footage of them being racist is there, they were unknown they were being filmed, when they were having their racist rants/stabbing lessons, wouldnt one of them mention the stabbing they were involved in?

  • Look at the end of the day the evidence was a joke they should never of been re-trialed the government are basically changing the law to suit this case its a joke, they probably did do it but you need fucking evidence its pretty simple its not rocket science, the police fucked the whole case up with the way they handled it so they then had to make it right by re-trial over poor evidence what a joke the british justice system is!!! british justice system - haha dont make me laugh

  • dobson is the weak link and i bet he grasses up for reduced sentence. the got beaten up by an irish bloke at a bnp meeting cos he thought irish were not allowed. bnp did somethin useful for once. they will get beaten up loads in prison cos without sounding racist prisons have more blacks than whites in london - but thats another issue

  • Absolute scumbags! i hope they get destroyed in prison! 3 more to go now!

  • vile vile vile nasty scum. No respect, No humanity. Village idiots. Odious, racist evil and arrogant. They make me ashamed for England..... I am white and British and stand in solidarity with the Lawrences. Shame on these inbred retarded little shits. Shame on their parents. Shame on certain police...... RIP Stephen. Peace for his family...

  • FIT UP!

  • 100% it was them. I can put my life on it. I hope they all rot in hell.

  • So, watch any of these Grime Videos on youtube... Black kids waving guns about bragging about shooting some "bitch ass nigger" I wonder, the next kid that get's shot, will the cunt waving the gun about and shouting the word NIGGER get 14 years in prison... I FUCKING DOUBT IT!!

    FIT UP!

  • Five uneducated, feral men who essentially fed off each other's rage and paranoia. Unfortunately this was reinforced by a police force allegedly paid to look the other way by the father of one of the suspects. Allegedly.

  • @whozafeard drop the "allegedly" - we all know what happened! 2 behind bars, 3 to go...

  • @whozafeard Unproven apparently, but there's clear evidence of racism or at best pig ignorant vertical thinking among cops. Check out Mark Daly's 2003 doc 'The Secret Policeman' (search it under google videos) I remember it happening, but was still shocked all over again when I watched it again the other day.

  • Some justice at last! I hope they get the harshest sentences possible. It's just a shame, the other three scumbags haven't been locked away with them.

    R.I.P Stephen Lawrence.

  • 18 years too long but at least "some" justice for Stephen Lawrence...two down ...three to go!

  • @uniqueone4lyfe 18 years too long !!!!???? should hang the cunts

  • @jamesbuckton123 - I think you'll find they meant 18 years too late - not the length of sentence. Still, if ever there was scum that deserve to swing...

  • liar liar bum on fire. justice at last

  • GUILTY!!! FABULOUS.

  • reason why they didnt arrest them was because none of the suspects has ever been convicted....one of the most pathetic things i have ever heard...so they should have been convicted as 10 year olds in order to become suspicious as teenagers?

  • doubt anythin will happen that footage has been in the public domain for ages,i think the so called evidence is too dodgy for a conviction and lets face it,the lads have never given cause to be guilty as they have never said anything to suggest it.you see its futile and a waste of money ploughing over a really old case like this

  • Tuff crowd ; (

  • Nasty, hateful lying psychopaths. Let's hope this time they go down for good.

  • Any youth/adult who carries a knife whatever colour should be banged up for 5 years! People might start thinking twice about it then and not take one out and so this kinda murder may not happen.

  • @brownboy90 Well yes, but I guess you feel you may feel you have to take a knife with you when you know lots of other people out there have one.

  • @splinterbyrd not if you knew for a fact you would get 5 years in jail you wouldn't. Carrying a knife doesn't make you any safer and it's not an excuse to carry one.

  • Comment removed

  • @brownboy90 I agree, but if if I were frightened for my life of going out of my front door, the five years inside might SEEM the better option rather than going out unarmed even if in practice it makes things worse not better. As things are I can't see banning knives is going to make much difference nor can it be policed adequately. Guns are unlawful without a licence, but gun crime is still on the increase. You've got to get at the problems behind the problem.

  • GUILTY! its over there faces.......

  • THEY ARE BEING FITTED UP

  • @padymac1 Unimpressed by trial by mob and media. There are hundreds of young men in south london just like these, who are racist and not very nice. Why these?

  • @splinterbyrd

Because the DNA of the person murdered was found on their clothes. Do you think that could have anything to do with it, genius?

  • @EminemDisciple1 Quite. Deoxyribonucleic Acid evidence is hardly beyond dispute, and I'm not so gullible as to believe something just because a quack in a white coat says so.

Tried and tested methods which can be evaluated by the layman like witnesses and fingerprints would be more credible.

And I wish the Met would get on with catching the killers of PC Blakelock.

  • @EminemDisciple1 PS I think they're guilty, but you have to beware of trial by mob and media. (suggest google 'reliability of DNA evidence') For example, while telling us about the blood and fibres, the reports varied wildly about the chances of it being wrong from1/billion to just 1/400. Doesn't inspire confidence. And what they did NOT say was how much DNA from other people was found on the jacket.

  • @EminemDisciple1. We all mingle with humanity all the time; there may be microscopic fragments from hundreds of other people all over your clothes, house anywhere you care to look -I don't know Im not an expert. If the scientists could answer these sorts of questions I'd be more convinced.

  • @splinterbyrd

That's all well and good but, firstly, the notion that perhaps they were at some point mingling with Stephen, or mingled with people who had mingled with Stephen, while Stephen had been bleeding at the time, is frankly ridiculous.

  • @splinterbyrd

More importantly, they werent finally convicted based purely on DNA. That was just the final nail in their coffin. But as you've said you agree they are guilty so it's fine. Maybe you just have a problem with trial by media and mob in general. If that's the case than that's okay, but you're most definitely using the wrong example (The Stephen Lawrence case) to express your opinion. This wasn't trial by mob and media. It's silly to use this case to vent about it.

  • @EminemDisciple1 Well it's happened before (nb amanda dowler case)

and after all the suspects and victim lived in the same area. It's just all too much emotion and not enough subsatnce "They're guilty because they're guilty because they're guilty" When people are convinced of a truth and their whole sense of collective being depends on it they can convince themselves of anything.

  • Comment removed

  • @splinterbyrd

So if you've got such a problem with the evidence at hand why do you think they're guilty, too?

  • @EminemDisciple1 All the evidence assembled both factual and circumstantial as well as body language when they were asked direct questions in interview. But my personal instincts would not be enough to make me send them to jail in a court of law, I'd want alot more.

I myself have been the victim of hate crime (homophobia.) These men are thoroughly nasty little turds, but that was not what they were on trial for and simply being racist is not a crime. Perhaps it should be.

  • @splinterbyrd

We'll have to agree to disagree. Personally I think when everything is put together, there's enough to find them guilty. Their lawyer did well to keep them out of prison this long but that was because of a systematic failures rather than there being a chance that they're innocent.

  • @EminemDisciple1 Incidentally, I saw Jamie Acourt, Gary Dobson and David Norris in the flesh when they were tried at the Old Bailey in 96. They looked soul-less and horrible. But perhaps this is what prompts me to be extra cautious. Nice chat :0)

  • @splinterbyrd I'd have to agree with your way of thinking on this - yes, they were nasty pieces of work and clearly racist......but, as you so rightly state, they weren't on trial for that. I don't remember watching this show at the time, although I certainly would have done so, and watching it now I'm uneasy about the aggressive nature of the 'interviews'. It's certainly not impartial journalism. Just because you own a horse and a hat it doesn't make you a cowboy.

  • @fineasski well yes, while I think the guys are lying, this in itself still doesn't mean they actually did it (I think they did but that's another story), and I'm unimpressed by Bashir. It's not very difficult for a man of his intellect to put a bunch of illiterate yobs on the defensive.

  • its obvious they did it, and i hope norris and dobson are found guilty. they are guilty as joint enterprise.

  • These guys going to get off at their trial.

  • Repellent. These little scumbags will get it. Just wait.

  • in society what goes around comes around street justice will get the other 3 seeing as only 2 are on trial now
