Hong Kong Government employs a bunch of arrogant, ignorant dicks at the "council level", unlike the cops, who are VERY well-trained, professional and courteous...I don't know why this is.
thank you for posting this video. WE should all take a stand against animal cruelty. I own 3 dogs and it's very upsetting to see another pet that has been treated this way.
the ppl screaming at these two evil hkg workers, - strangle too tight, they are bleeding, cannot breathe, pls let them go, release a lil bit. some women begging and crying for the dog, even they r only neighbors. as all neighbors said, these 2 dogs r tame & friendly. finally they got treated like this.
this happened in a new property estate 2 days b4, without any reason. some ppl just don't like seeing animal around & made one complaint.
I've seen this video, it's disappointing how terribly Hong Kong officers and staffs treats animals under their care. To many people's surprise, the breeding exploitation of pet shops are barely noticed by the governments nor many people through out the time. Though this video might be the first to make some changes, since now it's flowing rapidly on the internet.
I am hoping with this video, people who don't understand Cantonese can get to see how such a "developed" Hong Kong is actually doing to helpless animals.
I am trying to escalate this to the international news.
Shanghai has just passed a law for one dog only per household to go into effect in May.

Unfortunately this sub-urban area of hong kong appears to be uncivilised. No civilised society would treat any dog inhumanly.

@ifthecapfits1 it happens to even urban parts of Hong kong....
