It's weird because i lubed my 3x3 with WD-40, and people say that you can't use it because it's oil based and it will eat the plastic, but my cube is pretty good now.

Then i lubed my 2x2 with silicone, and it really suck now.

So i don't know what is really right.

You are using the wrong stuff!! Anything oil based, will eat into the plastic.

I would get some CRC silicone spray, JIG-A-LOO, or 3in1 Silicone Spray Lubricant...
