I wish Eric would focus less on his hand work and more on full body expression. He's got such good rythm that his moves match the music very well. Nobody wants to see a dancer barely move their feet while his hands look like they're playing a game of tag on acid.

This is simply superb. I've danced liquid for over 10 years and the control you display is just unmatched. I'm based in Europe and all I can say is that we have a unique dance culture back in the States.
Choice of Eden Transmission's "I'm So High" is also perfect - very subtle and appropriate to the development of your dance moves. And that's what makes the dancing awesome - perfect combination of impressive and subtle gestures.

The scene has been dead for years. Killed by drug dealers who didn't appreciate the scene and started making bogus beans in their tub and lawmakers shutting down raves everywhere because of the newbies who couldn't enjoy a little rollin with some outstanding music and cool culture. Then the hip hop crowd started showing up and trying to rape girls and make money and the whole idea of the love everybody scene disappered. If someone stepped on your shoe it was a way to meet not fight Real talk.
down here in hawaii thats happening 2. some guys came into a rave and were pushing everyone aside saying they were all stupid and started crumping to the rave music. when some kids went over to tell them to get out,they pulled out a gun on him.
it's really annoying when they just cant keep to themselvs.

With objects (soup bowls, basketballs, stacks of nothing and never letting your hands get too far apart). This isn't liquid dancing at all. March 2007 my friend came up to me doing waves with his hands saying he was learning liquid and I should give it a try. I'd never danced before
I looked 'liquid dance' and found this video.
Five years later and every time I get on the dance floor people stop and watch, all because I saw this video and it inspired me.

The scene has been dead for years. Killed by drug dealers who didn't appreciate the scene and started making bogus beans in their tub and lawmakers shutting down raves everywhere because of the newbies who couldn't enjoy a little rollin with some outstanding music and cool culture. Then the hip hop crowd started showing up and trying to rape girls and make money and the whole idea of the love everybody scene disappered. If someone stepped on your shoe it was a way to meet not fight Real talk.

down here in hawaii thats happening 2. some guys came into a rave and were pushing everyone aside saying they were all stupid and started crumping to the rave music. when some kids went over to tell them to get out,they pulled out a gun on him.
it's really annoying when they just cant keep to themselvs.

sorry, you guys are just not looking hard enough. most places have gone underground; smaller, easier to handle parties. a few hundred, instead of a few thousand.

the reason the video looked wierd is most people watched the shitty youtube and .avi video that floated around the net and it skips frames and gives it a twitching type of look to it and makes it look like special effects when all it is is missing frames.

NO-NO-NO-!!!!!!!! This was not liquid dancing. It was much more fluid involving your arms and legs. With objects (soup bowls, basketballs, stacks of nothing and never letting your hands get too far apart). This isn't liquid dancing at all. You have it all wrong----Liquid dancing was founded by the REAL NASA kids. It's too bad no one knows what I am speaking about...
