I had a teacher who had a massive afro perm at the time and we called him HB after the Hair Bear Bunch. I met him again recently and his hair was quite normal- I wouldn't have recognised him. An afro on a 60 year old would look quite good, I think....

I don't know how hanna-barbara survived the early years these cartoons were awful. Even though i was an 80's kid u.s.a. network still hung on to these in their cartoon express series . It's not really today cartoons that have spoilt today's generation, it's the live actions like Hannah Montana, et al that I feel has ruined animation, Old and New alike. Oh and the Powerpuff girls was actually produced by Hanna Barbera and Cartoon Network until 2001.
