  • lol i can make 100 of these effects on adobe photoshop.

  • this video would be really dumb, if it wasn't for the hat... love the hat, kind of gives it that safari look.

  • what a stupid video i cant belive they are selling this shit !

  • Lol i know, and he looks like he is a park ranger...

  • this is stupid aha why on earth would you want to do that....

  • It's a well known effect called the zoom blur. It's an artistic effect, if done right can produce really creative photographs. Nothing stupid about it. He might not came up with the perfect subject for this but if you learn it, you might come up with better applications of this. He's only showing you the technique.

  • I don't think you always need to have a zoom lens, in fact you don't.

When I take photos of cars and they are sitting still parked, if I want a good effect I just take a photo and put the shutter speed a bit slower and turn up the exposure, as soon as I click the shutter I take a step back with out loosing my balance so the photo is level.

  • Nice demonstration! Thanks very much. Some of the boys have applied this great technique to gay-porn photography, and you were right, it makes boring old, super-common gay porn,

    ...extraordinary!

    Thanks!

  • Naah, drag the lens the opposite! Zoom in a bit, focus on the subject and while pressing the shutter button zoom OUT in stead of zooming in!

Why: When you zoom out, the subject remains in focus, while the surroundings will have the same effect like they do on the example, only you have a MUCH bigger chance to have the subject nice and sharp

    Thierry

  • Yes, I should have showed it that way, it is easier to do and gives a different effect. Thanks

  • I have an 18-200 (kit lens), will it work? I'll try tomorrow.

  • Yes, a 18-200 will work fine for this effect

  • Any zoom lens will work, you dont even have to own a nikon d300 it can be done on any camera with a zoom lens :)
