i hate that water puzzle ..took me forever to figure it out..and my boyfriend who doesnt play RE did it in under 1 minute O_O of course this was back when this game came out too...i still hate it but can figure it out a little faster now

@Scarface1224 Nah it would be loads better, exactly the same game, but in 3rd person view rather than a spectator view. The zombies would be in miles better graphics, and aiming and stuff would be better too!

@Phoenix1664 I think the aiming is fine. Resident Evil is not meant to be an action shooter, its meant to be a survival horror game. Not being able to see around corners is part of what makes it a survival horror game. RE 4 and RE 5 are 3rd person shooters which is not what RE is about. Resident Evil for the Gamecube and RE0 proved how better graphics is all thats needed. not that crappy 3rd person shooter overhaul. Just an opinion though.

I found your walkthroughs really helpful. You know in my pc all the cut screens get skipped. By the way I use windows 7 ultimate. Do you know how to fix it?

thanks for watching :) Um Im not too sure about that, it hasnt happened to me in Vista Ultimate. I would suggest you right click on your Resident Evil 3 Icon that starts the game, and go to properties. Then go to the Compatibility Tab, and check "Run this program as an Administrator". If that still doesnt solve the problem, go back to the Compatibility Menu and Select "Run this program in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2.

If both of those dont work, I would suggest a reinstall of the game because your install might be corrupted in some areas, just be sure to backup your save game files first.

I have reinstalled the game several times & still all the cut scenes gets skipped. I guess the cut scenes don't work in windows 7 ultimate. Well, atleast I can still play the game :)

yea lol, and the only other thing i can think of is that you may need to install the direct X version that came with the game, or you're missing a video codec that the game uses to play the cutscenes. Oh well at least you can play it :)

By the way I found the prob :) The prob was that when I bought my pc somethingthing was worg with my video card but now it got fixed. But there is no point now because I finished playing the game :(
