im sorry i comment on like nearly every one of your videos i must get annoying, i dont mean to seem like a stalker or anything its just i have like loads a questions and stuff but i want to get contact with my dad, im only 13 dont no what he looks like or anything, my mum probly wouldnt approve and i dont no what he would do or want so like could you give me advice or anything cause im just so confused and like sad or something i dont mean to be negative but yeh???! thanks

If you haven't met your dad for three years then probably because you have changed in someway like new clothes, hairstyle, or maybe even just physically growing that makes your dad did see you. I know that just feels awful, and I wish you keep an open mind and be positive. My dad act like I was invisible after he married my step mom, and we were living under the same roof. I guess according to your title, mine is gonna be "Does my dad know who the hell I am?"
It wasn't a waste of time. I used to do something similar exept I can't remember what he looks like and he last saw me when I was like 6 months old so he wouldn't know me and I wouldn't know him, even if I had seen him. I don't know if I ever did. Probibly not

Situation with my dad is rather similar. It's been over 30 years since he's visited me or my sister. My sister very understandably won't let her kids even get to know him - she doesn't want them too suffering the abandonment loss.
Not our fault, quite possibly not even our dads'. Can be damn hard, but mostly just have to let go.
I doubt it, he often says 'i'll be in contact' and i never hear from him. Also, it was my step dad who brough me up, now he's gone too. I'm used to no Dad now.
