the giants are definately portrayed perfectly on this version of the super bowl on tecmo bowl, being taylor banks etc were on defense and they crushed, who did the creator pick as the team for the patriots?

Everyone chill out. The guy who made this did it before the game, he did it for every playoff game. He wasn't controlling either team, it was just the CPU playing itself.

I know the names changed to the current roster but is it the same stats from the original game? Cause in tecmo super bowl the giants were great and the pats sucked so this score would make more sense. Just wondering.

What they did at the beginning of the season does not impress anybody. And we'll see how this scandal does with Bellchik when everything is all said and done. And their defensive players including Harrison are among the dirtiest players in the league. And I really hope the Giants put Harrison flat on his ass for two of those cheap shots in that week 17 game.

This could've been really cool except the play-calling was nothing like reality. The Pats almost never run, yet they were running all the time here. The Giants are primarily a running team, but were very pass-happy... and then with less than 2 minutes to play while trailing, they call two consecutive runs? Silliness.

The first Tecmo Bowl came out in the late eighties yo. This one is Tecmo Super Bowl, which came out in 91 yo.
