I am a big fan of Dolly Parton and Jesus too. The Bible is VERY clear that we are to love everyone irrespective of what they do. This does not mean, which is also very clear in the Bible, that accepting all people means you have to accept everything that they do. This is to unconditionally love another person. I would hope that teachers teach their students to examine history and challenge it if they see something wrong, and that's what they did.
