What a waste! That was a totally salvageable plane, all you needed was a al-cheapo tube of supa glue, some jigsaw puzzle experience, alot more hours, and wahla! good as new. It may not fly though :P

Good video - I've totaled a couple in my days. It is sad, especially with a custom job you've really put your heart into. I like the idea of burning the carcass down, kinda appropriate since the airframe will never be reliable again after repairs...

:( the last video i saw a guy burned a good plane out of some deranged "im done with this!" type anger. but this i can understand. i'm flying parkzone planes right now to learn. i have an eaglet 50 4 channel trainer my dad built over 10 years ago and now gave to me that once i am competent, i will equip with electronics , fire up the motor, and fly. Lord willing i wont crash it--there's sentimental value to it. if i do crash it as bad as your video, it'll be a sad sad day.

Don't cry. its the life of RC Pilot. Nowadays when I crash a plane, I laugh out so loud. I have fun with it, because i know its our life. planes will crash no matter what heheheh. So have fun man. Move on. One plane crashes, you get a new one, better one ;D

yeah sadly the bigger it is the harder it crashes and if its a balsa plane its gonna get smashed beyond repair

most of the time the radio and engine should survive the worst of crashes

i normaly put bubble wrap around the radio, that should save that in a majour crash,

i burned my precedent hiboy after crashing it about 14 times

that was a tough little bugger and took a beating till it hit a goal post haha

My cousin just burned one I crashed a few days ago. It's just balsa wood and some mono coat. Burns quick and completely. No fuss no muss. It wasn't the first and it won't be the last. Happy flying!!!
