The float with the black dog and 3 men represents the founder
of the town of Lucban. According to history 3 hunters from a
neighboring town went hunting in the vicinity where Lucban
is now situated. After a day long hunting the 3 decided to take a break. Under the pomelo tree they rested. They saw
a hummingbird chirping beautiful song and for a short
while a pomelo (fruit) feel right in front of the 3 men. They
agreed and decided to named the place Lucban. There's more to the story.

My fav float is the one with a black dog sitting on top as if he is the mascot of the celebration.
Your country's culture is so rich. You must show this vid to PBS, so they could catalog it under International traditions. Tell me,what are they celebrating about?
