The Split Worm is patterned after the "Split Head" creature that appears in the first game. This is also the first boss of its game, further mirroring the Split Head. It represents Heather giving birth to God in a more vulgar aspect. It may also carry phallic symbolism, and possibly Heather's sexual experience as such.

Well.. Heather IS Cheryl/Alessa, and Cheryl was like.. 5 when she was lost - but then Alessa arrived as a baby. So, in a sense she's 17. Really, she's like. 20.. Something like that. /shrug. I didn't care too much for Silent Hill's story. It just scared the holy shit out of me.

Then he named her Cheryl. So as a newbord, Cheryl was already 14. Then at 7 yrs, Cheryl returns to Silent Hill, merges with Alessa, and after the battle she gives her whole soul in another baby, Heather. So Heather was a newborn, but her soul was 21. When she was 17, her soul was 38. Happy 38th Bday!

Silencer is in the construction site, inside the wall. Examine the floor five walls and brake the one that Heather mentions differs from others. You'll find 'something else' inside there, too.
