i got my tamiya TT-01D two weeks ago for 250 the kit tu build, i got an hitec radio and venom battery... total price of the whole thing 370. now can anyone tell me what does lock my diff means?? what do you do to it? and what for??? i wanna find where to drift w more ppl in vancouver.
locking your diff, or differential, means making it where both weels spin at the same speed all the time. to do this, you simply superglue the things. there's probably a tutorial here on youtube somewhere.
or if you wanna spend money put a one way diff in the front and a solid diff in the back. one way will act like a handbrake and the solid will help you with longer and tighter drifts, its a win, win with a solid in the back

Would had been better to take a TA-05 and drift tires thast maybe 10$ more than the tt-01D and as tuning engine a runner special wich is working together with the stock tamia speedcontrol
Where do you put the grease they supply on the tt-01d?

I packed both with play doh too lock.. It is good because it won't damage your diff case/gears and is removable if you wanna take it out later.

yeah TA05 is better and has more tuning parts than TT-01, and it is also based on the TRF415

Got one with full Carbone from 3 racing , mor expensife but nicer then a trf :)
