If I didn't have to compare with original, I would say this cover is simply amazing. Now back to the reality: compared with original,.. I still like this version more :-) Possibly because it's different, not trying to copy & even technically perfect. Great voices & music, awesome quality and arangement.

Nobody seems to be able to cover this song well, in my experience. I've heard several artists that I hold in high regard who consistently produce amazing content, but I've yet to hear a rendition of Grenade better than the original. That's not to say these guys suck; on the contrary, they are awesome, Bruno is just better (for this song, at least).

Your version is...I don't know...better? I don't even think comparing them is the point, like you mentioned, but your version FEELS better to me....a lot. It's more organic, both the way the voices interpret the melody as well as the fact that you're using acoustic instruments and this really does feel like a LIVE performance with the right emotion.
