SAE institute is definitely the most overpriced and overrated school for "media" stuff
You spend a lot of money, you learn a lot of useless stuff not needed in real job market, some SAE stuff members are not competent and most of all, you are not gonna get any job after SAE graduation
I'm an aspiring Trance DJ/Producer and I'm thinking about attending SAE Institute in Los Angeles for the Electronic Music Production program. Do you guys think this would be a good move for me? Thanks

Subjects you ever enjoyed and exceled at. Chances are you has competent and passionate teachers.
If you base you decision on random comments based on a handful of people on the other side of the world [meaning other posts here]. That's no way to judge so many people.
Go into the college speak to people, get course overviews, look at the facilities and staff profiles. This is what normal people do. Then put in the work necessary, which is a lot.
SAE sucks balls! Especially the SAE LA staff! The course coordinator and his little dick sucker boyfriend and their crew are backstabbing assholes!! They ruin the fun vibe and stunt the growth of their fellow co-workers. They all a bunch of haters that have nothing goin on for themselves. And this guy named Mike Whiteside has a gay haircut!! ahahahaha

all about being able to do overnight recordings,think that was an opportunity we were given that many SAE students are not due to location.
there were a few aspects of the course namely the video modules tht seemed they had been bolted on and not very well thought out..that said i have no love for video production.
i wouldnt be where iam today if i hadnt made that random choice to send an email to SAE at 3am one night. i recommend
