The only reason NATO fights with US is not to unleash WW3. As too many people would die, so it would be better to sacrifice some people to save a bilion. People don't get it. The greatest threat to world peace is USA. USA goes in every war only to obtain natural resources. All of those wars had 2 things in common, one was that one side had western, the other, Soviet technology, the other was that the side with Soviet technology had between 100 and 2000 times the casualties depending on the war, which more then evened the numerical advantage the Soviet back countries had. Russias technology is still Soviet -Era, and China is still developing its first stealth fighter.

@apresesco When NATO bombs a city, their objective is not to kill as many ethnic civilians as possible - they're objective is to kill terrorists and insurgents that kill civilians.
The report comes from a source of the former Gaddafi government, which made MANY allegations of countless civilian deaths by NATO, but never had enough evidence to prove otherwise. It says that in that article.
And the protest was full of Gaddafi supporters. Of course they would be anti-nato.

People don't get it. The greatest threat to world peace is USA. USA goes in every war only to obtain natural resources. And, NATO has a peace agreement with Russia, and as Russia is half part of Europe it would be more like Europe and Russia vs USA vs China. China is a threat as well, such a large army can mean only preparations for war. No one is affraid US military, they should wake up to reality.

I think it would be better for the us on the long term if europe fails. and so would for china, which has already started buying large manufacturing sites in europe: see volvo and saab. also russia is waiting to make it's entry on the scene. so yeah, it is convenient for outsiders to let europe fail.

@tubbyboy1985 For ex. Greece; they don't recycle, school lasts right now only 2-3 hours a day and a minimum strike day once a week. Also schoolbooks are EACH YEAR brand new. this is not in belgium we use it over and over and we are still better students. I know this cause my best friend is Greek. Imagine what the rest is doing -_- in the end we waall wasted money, but these countries, including romania etc. wasted money from someone else without shame or care. Frankly, thats disgusting

Romania joined the European Union due to multiple reasons: strategic location, historic alliance, resources and economy. To be more specific, it's at the crossroads between east and west, former ally of the west in ww1, and an ally of the axis in ww2, the 3rd largest oil producer after norway in denmark (in europe) and the economy was rapidly growing.

@Kraychek3 Didnt look that way during Korea, vietnam, the 6 day war and the Balkan wars. All of those wars had 2 things in common, one was that one side had western, the other, Soviet technology, the other was that the side with Soviet technology had between 100 and 2000 times the casualties depending on the war, which more then evened the numerical advantage the Soviet back countries had. Russias technology is still Soviet -Era, and China is still developing its first stealth fighter.
