Hey man are there any special tricks/techniques for getting your fingers more nimble/natural on the guitar aside from practice practice practice (which i am doing)? For example, my pinky is still stiff as a board and also when I am reading music and not looking at the guitar I find myself hitting the wrong notes quite often. Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks!

if you don't know, play with your right hand. i'm left handed, but can do things right. the long term benefits to playing right is that you will be able to play on most other peoples guitar. plus guitar its not like a sport where playing left might be advantageous.

umm, actually, a fret is that lil piece of metal on the fret board. altho you are still corerct, when we say "fret" we mean the space behind the fret. i know its jerkish of me to correct you like this, but facts are facts. this is just a lil heads up for fture vids... although the lil dot there does help out =]

best to learn on acoustic guitars, then electric so you can learn the foundational elements. chords are easier, notes are more fundamental. both are necessary to learn.
