I am a massage thrapist ..in order to be a good MT ...u need to know your anatomy ... What the differents is between bone and muscle...what direction to massage the muscle ... And never massage on top of the spine.... That musle u have between the scapula and spine is not shape like a horse shoe ha ha its called rhomboid not scapula...

Sorry, no it's not. I was being sarcastic. Went to medical school n can tell u it's more or less a triangle. Starting at the inferior angle, the vertebral border goes up and the axillary hits a 45 degree. The shape is completed at the top through the scapula spine or superior angle to glenoid fossa...... More or less ; )
