Don't matter where you're from, if what you're doing is good, you shouldn't be penalized for something you got no control on, i.e where you were born.
Winnipeg dose so support it's music scene & so of the best Musicians & Bands have come from there !!! I grew up in Winnipeg in The 80s & 90s and when it comes to party's and bars with live venues Wpg Rocks !! Your so Wrong !!
What is wrong with Winnipeg? I'll tell you. Winnipeg SUCKS when it comes to supporting local talent - bands such as this. I'm so glad I live 60 miles from there....

I have a question, and please forgive my ignorance. There was a band that played the bar scen when I was a kid growing up on Long Island in the 70's named Harlequin. Is this the same band? If it is I just had no idea they were from Canada. Thought they were a "LI Band". I remember seeing them at "The Shoreham" in Sayville LI Thanks.
They've been around since the mid 1970s, so it is possible it's the same HARLEQUIN. Of this new re-incarnation of this classic Winnipeg group, I believe singer George Belanger is the only original left.
I remember waiting about 2 hrs for them to appear at a concert, the rumour was they were too wasted to take the stage. I believe it was probably reasons like that are the answer, too bad because they did have a few hits but never made the big time. Why didn't Santers make it big? One of them played with Lita Ford and Triumph!
99% of rumors about rockers being wasted are crap. They are smart enough to keep that until after the show. It makes for great conversation amongst the gullible, but it is horseshit.
I remember watching April Wine and everyone said the drumer was swilling gin.
Get REAL. He had a bottle of water. He can't play a song drunk any better than your mom can run a cash register when she's pissed.

I am beyond stoked to have been able to relive my canadian youth. At least for a minute or two of flashbacks that go to this soundtrack.
