  • Their Dancing !!! Does anyone remember those musical flowers that you buy, when you turn it on and play music they dance ? Did anyone ever have a sunflower one ?

  • when does the zombies come i thought this was plants vs zombies

  • you should have a time lapse of marijuana seeds

  • Dance! Dance the dance of LIFE!

  • Holy crap its a sunflower mosh pit

  • the dancing sunflower seeds.

  • It's AliVEEEE!!!

  • :S sorry, I can't remember. Every year when I do my spring planting, I just pick up some gardening soil from a decent shop. It always turn out very well, in Denmark , most shops are reliable with soil product.

  • like potting mix? what brand?

  • just normal soil I bought from a shop for gardening use :)

  • WHAT SOIL DO YOU USE????!

  • "SWING YO ASS" LOL

  • @animelover13ify I usually harvest sunflower seeds about 4 months after seeding. That is, as long as the squirrels don't eat them first.

  • WHAT ARE THEY DOING? DANCING?

  • It's Like Their Dancing In A Disco!!

  • oh!,my ass dont grow like that fast

  • " You spin me right round baby right round like a record baby right round, round, round!!" (8)

  • great shot

  • xD thats kewl, u spin my head ryt round ryt round

  • If anybody wants to know why they're rotating, thats how most plants grow. Phototropism causes them to produce more cells on the side of the stem that isn't receiving sunlight. Thats why it leans one way, then the plant starts to produces more cells on the other side.

  • there swerving THERE DRUNK DUI

  • what type of sunflower please im growing the same kind but forgot the name :/

  • My sunflowers are the same and right now they are about the same length but they are starting to fall over any advise why this might be happening?????

  • I'm not certain but they may need planting outside.

My lettuce did this and it died eventually :(

  • Sunflowers are one the easiest plants to germinate. Never take the the Seedshell off the cotyledon when they sprout. Its needs to be on so the plant develops a little inside the shell then rips its off itself.

  • that looks like form healthy dirt

  • Very cool! like watching plant bobbleheads

  • wow the life of a plant, how depressing

  • I don't think there's anything depressing about the life of a plant - I think the life of a plant is amazing and uplifting.

    Cool video BTW.

  • I meant depressing for the plant, wouldn't it suck to be stuck in one place have bugs eat at you then you die

  • im sorry but that looks hella fake.....

  • thats real, sunflowers are always facing the sun.

  • lol they were dancing.

    that is pretty cool.

  • next Sunday you'll get another chance! you're so creativ!

  • Very nice - very smooth. What camera did you use, not a Canon Powershot was it? - seems to be what most people use. I made some using my webcam(S), not as good picture quality as yours.

  • This is beautiful. I wonder if anyone has tried doing a timelapse of the roots and the leaves. You could place a seed in a clear plastic container and film the roots growing. You could even turn the seed upside down so the leaves grow down and roots grow up and watch how they reverse themselves naturally. Thanks for the film.

  • Thanks for the idea, nice one, gotta try this on these dark winter days since I am indoor all the time now

  • Thanks for the idea, nice one ! Gotta try this sinc eI am always indoor now in the cold winter days

  • you guessed it rite :) canon powershot s450, it is a really good camera

  • How long between photo's? Ang how long in total was it run for?

  • @denisetham Hi, Jeff.

  • @kimmiosmosis in all actuation the leaves will grow up into the light where ever the light that is where the plant will be going so It doesn't matter what way the seed Is planted the roots go further to draw in nutrition and the leaves go up

  • hooray for the dancing plants

  • Are they dancing b/c they are in a solarium or greenhouse with multiple directions of sunlight?

I love time lapses. The longer (preferably over years) and the more change evident (like this) the better.

If somthing (a back yard, a street scene, some other scene, natural or urban) has been photographed daily from the same spot for X amount of time, over, say, 10 years(?), and then speeded up and condenced into less than 3 minutes

I cant say enough how much that would rule!

  • Look at them wiggle! Awe they're so cute.

  • because plants follow the sun lol?

  • why are they dancing?

  • Hello, what camera / software did you use to make this video? i have an idea for a timelapse piece but i have no idea what equipment i need to produce the effect in your video.

    Thanks in advance!

  • A video Camera... and any basic video editing software program which speeds up the video

  • Ah! It's creepy how they "dance" to the sun.

  • not only growing but also dancing

    :))

  • Very cool!

  • how do you make a timelapse

  • groovy, like watching plant bobbleheads.

  • man thats creepy watchin them move around like that! good job :D

  • It sure was creepy :P thanks mate

  • nice, but you need to show more growth... maybe same stuff, but over like 2 months. that would be cool

  • Thanks mate and what a good idea :) Gotta find more seeds :)

  • cool
