Hi! I just bought minecraft and I had used a not original version so I'm new to it now. I tried to update it and it stays at 1.1. Can you tell me how to update it to the newest updates? Thanks

@Xbox360masterCYC First thing first you need to go to your Minecraft data file by typing in run %appdata% than hit enter, than open the Minecraft folder go into the bin file, and there you see a Minecraft.jar Java icon looking thing!! delete it and paste in the new Minecraft.jar that you have downloaded from this video description. good luck : )
