@tstan566 you're wrong my friend, black tips are harmless, look it up. the proof is in the bora bora lagoon which is practically infested by black tips and there has never once been a reported shark attack in the bora bora lagoon.
@vincaful yeah, but that is soooooooo very unfortunate and unlucky. about 3 months ago, me and a mate were up at an Island spearfishing Mackeral and Coral Trout, and we caught so many I had to start tucking the fish into my wetsuit. whenever one of the white tips would come close to me I would literally dive down and chase it off. they never came within 5m of me..
but black tips however, I would have to stab it a few times with the spear until they go away.
@vincaful There are different kinds of white tips. The reef white tip is a fairly small, harmless shark. The oceanic white tip is a larger shark that is incredibly dangerous. It's a pelagic shark, so it doesn't come into contact with people much, but it's one of the most dangerous fish you could possibly run into in the open ocean--certainly that was the shark you are talking about. tstan566 is likely referring to the other type.
lol dont worry im not coming to florida, i had a friend just move back from miami he pretty much said, its a hot garbage pit anyways lol, he said it wsa pretty ghetto lmao and he lived in the good part

People should learn to respect the shark. When we swim in the ocean , we are in their house.

More people are killed each year by falling coconuts than shark attacks. Just saying.

My fear is what is out there to scare sharks so much that they go shortlining as small fish tipically would do with bigger fish????

@tstan566 You are wrong in a big way, a white tip killed a german woman in the red sea in 2010, onlookers said it looked like a scene from jaws
