  • Fuck, I bought the album a few months before the re-issue. Was completely oblivious....

  • that is a pretty beautiful cock

  • i dont like dave , but chad is ok why he leaved nirvana ,why?? so crazy

  • @viviqvable He didn't leave....they kicked him out.

  • Look at Paul and Andy! Paundy! Right there in the interview!

  • nice guy :)

  • un saludo para el buen Chad Channing desde Lima Peru :D

  • This guy never get old!

  • his hair is so fucking beautiful.

  • Chad Channing, Chad Channing, Chad Channing...

    :)

  • Without Dave NIRVANA it would be stay in Seattle.

  • Chad is the original drummer of Nirvana.

  • @TheBrownside509 no he isnt...technicly is dave foster...or aaron buckard

  • @andyjables1 yeah, chad used double bass on bleach and dave doesn't so it would have sounded quite different. notice when dave plays school live he uses the toms to compensate for no double bass

  • @lecrapauddejerri9 ..and he maybe also use that toms to resemble double bass sound on Scoff(live)..Scoff with Chad and Scoff with Dave was totally different esp when it comes to double bass.

  • @pitlining well obviously, dave doesn't use double bass so the toms are a sustitute. :)

  • @pitlining plus, I don't think they play Scoff live because teh double bass in teh chorus is quite full on and using toms aswell as the crash woudl sound too much, i.e. Territry by Sepultura. I think it'scool how Nirvana was so heavy on teh first album, even using double bass

  • @lecrapauddejerri9 ...correct me if i'm wrong,,yes there is a live version of Scoff when dave came in..I guess that track featuring dave on drums(Outcesticide Box CD7)...from my opinion, that was the 1st time dave drums live on it ..you can differ the sound difference between dave's set and chad's set(esp the snare and bass drum).

  • @pitlining cool i didnt know that, is it on youtube? would like to hear how he plays it.

  • @pitlining ..surely internet(youtube)had it all,but for me,in purpose of sound quality its better for you to search on 4shared(just type the Outcesticide Box CD7) and download it..the collection of their tracks was there include Chad and dave on drums...personally,I prefer Chad then dave for its unique drumming style..very identical to Chad..

  • He's so adoreable! =3

I love Chad with alll my heart. :D

  • Is this guy on bleach era? young face

  • @skoi87 Yeah but it's not about the money, he could've played on the most incredible records made in the last 18 years. I wish I could be as gracious a person as Mr Channing....

  • chad is better than dave

  • i loved dave during the nirvana era (meh not so much really now) but ive always liked chad. chad seems like the sort of guy you would love as a freind. i dont know what he is like in real life but he seems very genuine and perfect guy to hang out with.

  • poor guy, like losing a winning lottery ticket for 90 million dollars

  • Chad looks like Jim Carey haha.

  • when was this?

  • @crapheadalex 11/03/09.

  • chad was a great drummer

  • lol " Do you get royalties on that?" ...we'll yeah 4 cymbal hits you know...

    Everybody starts clapping. That's funny

  • He looked like a hot-headed ladies man from the pictures I saw of him back in the day, but he's actually a really nice guy

  • @jasonp878 he's like 4'11.

  • I met chad in februar on a concert Backstage with Before Cars and Paundy it was awesome. He was really nice, he a took a lot of pictures we jamed with the Band and he took a lot of autographs.

We had a lot of fun.

  • What a great guy!

  • what a good guy, he has succeeded in his own way.

  • Chad has not aged.

  • @Duraan84 of course he is an elf lol! Chad is cool, i would like to have him as a session drummer for my band

  • I see "Paundy" in the back!!!!

  • Nirvana is so fucking awesome.. all the guys were layed back and they are just so fucking chill. Kurt was so layed back, Dave still is aswell as Chad, and Krist.

  • did you know them?

  • Yup.

  • @Methstories

Sorry to break it to you, but Dave has gone completely Hollywood. Loooong ago.

  • Completely Hollywood? As in he's the creator of a band called The Foo Fighters.? Who still kicks ass and shows what music is unlike more than half of the current music that we have an option to hear today? If Dave " has gone Hollywood " than we'd see him more than we do. We barely see him. " Gone Hollywood " are people like Miley Cyrus, Fred from Youtube, The Rock who start off doing something that got them where they are, and they change themselves for money.

  • @Methstories

the FF makes decent music, but my problem is that they're entirely OVERPRODUCED now and Dave is just another all around typical rockstar minus the groupies.

  • True. So is Pearl Jam. You have to be if you want to be noticed these days. That's where the big money keeps coming from is the big places. If Foo Fighters kept playing and producing videos like they did in 1995 - 2000, then they'd eventually not be noticed by new people. It sucks, I wish Music was like it use to be and that we'd get that classic/grunge/meaning that we use too. Maybe someday we'll have it again.

  • @Methstories

I'm so happy that this didn't turn into another YouTube argument lol

And you're right about how that's the only way to get noticed, but man I wish it wasn't like that. I once saw Dave hanging out with Paul McCarthey (in a photo) and I was just like WTF? I mean, there' nothing wrong with Paul, but why didn't I ever see pictures of Dave with Paul back in 1992? Hmmmmm, because it never happened!!!

I've lost a bit of respect for Dave over these past few years, but whatever.

  • As much as I like Grohl. I still have to comepletely agree with you. When Dave first hit the airwaves with his band Foo Fighters, he was low key, head down, humble. As soon as his third album came out, he behaved as if it's his turn to act out like he's been around like the Rolling Stones, Metallica, etc. I didn't understand.

His mic stand was pushed down low, his guitar resembled James Hetfield's, and a LOT of screaming and pauses at shows which extended the show making them play less. Yknow?

  • you know whats up!

  • It is amazing... I was amazed too when he was saying he was flattered. I'd be angry and feel like all of my hard work and input was stolen from me at the golden hour. But I think if people managed to get it right and remember what a contribution he made, then all of his humility won't be in vain. He will have a place in history as "the original line up of Nirvana". And he deserves that recognition.

  • thats right. nirvana..kurt, krist, chad.

  • Ick. I sttruggle buying anything Nirvana now. Cause COURTNEY LOVE owns the rights.

  • just pretend its going toward Frances' well being.....even though it probably isnt :/

  • exactly.

  • no she sold her rights to some corporation

  • real humble guy

  • Man, I'm glad I listened to Bleach. From the first time I heard it my drumming really changed because Chad's drumming sounded really good to me. I'm not a rip-off or anything, but you can see some similarities of his drumming in mine.

  • nice cock lol

  • Chad deserves respect. no one can rip on him.

  • CHAD IS A LEGEND, HE MAKE A BIG JOB

  • I really enjoy listening to Chad, hes a really nice guy. Though I think Dave made Nirvana what they became its nice to know that Chad worked on Bleach and made it great.

  • I picked up the deluxe cd and white vinyl yesterday, also the cd/dvd of live in reading, NIRVANA 4 EVER
