@teeleecee -- Okay, could that Amazing Grace scene have been any sappier? -- Let's see .. one of the kids could have been a paraplegic since birth and wheelchair bound, but managed to stand up on his own for the very first time just so he could hug the British kids goodbye. Of course, this was a surprise for his family, too and his parents started sobbing as did all his siblings.
@mpw19962001 I think the rules were extreme but so were the British kids. I love coffee, safe sex and some other sins but the purpose of this was for them to try something new. I'm an atheist but spent 2 days with the Hare Krishna's when I was in Amsterdam. I didn't agree with their rules (I'm not a vegetarian) but I followed their rules while there to experience something new. I value that memory.
Glad to know that I'm not the only one who teared watching this. Absurd rules like no coffee or soda in the beginning but everything's great at the end! :')
@hannah98xx Me too! Those parents were strict, but so calm and loving. The children were lovely too. Especially the emotion that swept through the whole family and the British kids during the last couple of days. :)
Lool that accent is just so annoyin i find it hard to understand and im from london i do not know how them lot in the usa managed to catch what she said
Can someone from the u.k tell me what kind of accent the girl had? it sounded like scottish or somthing, it sounded harder to understand than other u.k accents
yes he was involved, but amazing grace was written after his religious awakening, when he almost drowned. After that he became supporter of abolition of slavery.
