  • This is just all that Marley Marl shit. Damn! I think he just went into the studio and created this beat. I think he's doing the drum machine and the bells that you hear between the verses. This nigruh's mind for music was/is just impeccable. Damn I love this!!! Fuck it! I'ma start growin my hi-top fade back. Damn that!!

  • We from NC. However we have relatives in Mount Vernon NY. My cousin went there to visit his mother (My Aunt) back in 88'. And he brought this Marley Marl tape back with him. And he dubed it for me. I was 8 at the time, and it was my first rap album. This was my favorite track off of there. Damn it brings back memories.

    the symphony is the classic posse cut on that album that got all the airplay. but as a true hip hop b-boy i always thought THIS WAS THE SHYTT!!!!

  • @sti3 great observation, the way edan rhymes throughout primitive plus (everything from the delivery, rhyme style, sound, production) is very similar to this track. edan always mentions how much late 80s rap means to him, so it wouldnt surprise me at all
