What we see here is the story that explains why marriage laws are needed and why they shouldn't even exist! These people are teaching us that our species is more than this effort that actually became a big mess the minute we started surviving off agriculture. If we know this now it is our duty, a human obligation—if we aren't hypocrites—to relay the message on to those starting to get into the mess.
@Thrashe18 A law is needed in order to enforce something that doesn't happen naturally. You don't need a law to make people breathe. You don't need a law to make people want sex: they all want it. However, you need a law to organize the way it SHOULD happen. This law requires a commitment. A commitment is something you need to stay into, even if you don't feel happy within it anymore. We need freedom in this area of human life: absolute freedom, just like freedom of expression.
This series made me think about myself and the things I need to work on. It was very interesting and informative. & I absolutely agree with the sentiment that even though people may be in a monogamus or polyamourous relationship you're still an individual and you should be treated as such. I believe that. It's just good to actually hear someone AGREEING with me on that topic. lol. & I'm not polyamourous but I'm open to the idea and I also agree that it's a valid relationship just like any other.
Yes the frustration thing and failure believe in monogamous relationships. I never understood this.
One notion of cause. When you are new to polyamorie, you are very likely to meet this person claiming to be polyamorous, but in reality is using you for just only sex and is cheating on his wife.
Also when you discover that you are polyamorous, it is not a race to get as many partners as possible. I have seen people search in dating sites and they fail miserably mostly ending in divorce.
