@tweetsie190 The program is Microsoft Train Simulator. It's out of print, but it appears that Amazon in Germany has some for sale which could be shipped internationally.
One question. I noticed at 01:40 there's an NS SD60M that looks like the same model as the CR SD60M in the video. Did you repaint that NS one yourself?
One question. I have the Pocahontas District route for MSTS and it runs quite smoothly so will this run smoothly then or will it be slower? And great video!!
Ever thought about doing Railworks route reviews? they have released outstanding recreation of Horseshoe Curve and they are about to realease Donnor Pass.
Well, you got me psyched, that's for sure. This video blew me away, not only with it's awesome content (which I was previously completely unaware of), but also the editing. As is the content in the route, you paid special attention to detail, VERY nice work with the editing. Glad to see another Adobe guy, my Premiere Pro CS4 has gotten me through just about everything, I'd use it over Final Cut and Avid every time. Oh how I wish the professional industry would think the same way as me on this...
I agree that this route is fantastic. However I must say that Open Rails is not friendly to this route. The stock I believe comes from MLT and SLI repaints, right? I certainly can't find anything else of this quality anywhere.
@GintaPPE1000 Haha, I just thought it funny that this came out a short while before Railworks 3 came out! I do however like Railworks 3, looking at videos of it, it looks fantastic. Still got a ways to go to get up to MSTS standards though!
You do a consistently good job of showing off the routes you feature. This video is no exception. Having helped with this route I was very proud to see this review. I agree, it's a hell of a job well done!
Now, if I could just get you to start saying /rowt/ and not /root/.... ;-)
This was one of the routes that were supposed to be in MSTS2. It's a shame Microsoft closed Aces Studios. Hopefully, Cascade Game Foundry will release it sometime.
Railworks 3: Train Simulator 2012 looks VERY nice though.
I am mad I downloaded this route but I crashes when it is loading? Anyone know why? I have BIN installed. I can load it in route editor but when I explode it on editor it crashes just pass MG and just before Brickyard.
@123wwesuperfan It did take that long for me. However, there is now a multiple-file version in the file library so that you can download the route in stages.
I remember watching Extreme Trains on TV and it was about a coal train running this route. The scenery looks exactly the same, as far as I recall, especially the curve. Fantastic video review - makes up for me not being able to run this on my PC. 10 out of 10 for the route and the video.
thats neat how you used Unstoppable music in the beginning

@CSXRailfan95 The route will probably slow your computer down more than the Pocahontas route will.

@Conducter49 Yes. I've mentioned Railworks in a couple of News posts in the "News" section of the At The Railyard website.
