KOTC has the best rules of any MMA organization in my opinion. The one thing that sets them apart is allowing knees to the head of a downed opponent which allows punishment for a bad takedown attempt. Meaning that if one guy goes for a takedown and the other guy does a good sprawl the guy who sprawled then has the ability to deliver blows. With UFC rules it's almost safe to go for as many takedowns as possible because once you're sprawled on you can't get hit.
