I dont know why everyone's comparing this to Twilight. I'd compare it to Titanic. The only difference is that we know Rose from Titanic lived a wonderful life, so thats some sort of happy ending. But in here, we just have to hope that Winnie did :(

omg this movie has made me almost cry ;( and yea its almost similar to twilight but this one is much realistic cause winnifred followed the cycle of live that is to live and be not afraid of dying huhu unlike bella who kept on wanting to live eternally. ooh sorry if its a spoiler.

I'm not a fan of Twilight, but I have to admit I also saw similarities between both stories. I suspect that Tuck Everlasting, which brings such interesting reflections about life and death, might have inspired some elements of Twilight.
