@jimbomansonmb1 @cantonezspere first off it's whammy +2 octaves. He couldn't have gone that high on the e string with only one octave. Second it's a les Paul double cutaway. (DC) second he didn't start bringing in sustainer kits until the absolution era. @SamAlexander14786, No, I mean sustainer... A whammy is the little metal bar at the base of your guitar that makes the sound a lower pitch is you were to push it inward. A sustainer, on the other hand, is a volume equalizer that makes the sound stay there for longer than it usually would. What he did was hit the sustainer button/switch/petal and did a hammer on pull off technique that makes the noise go back and fourth. Sorry dude, i'm not trying to be a b****, but I am right on this one. :D

@guitarman0413 You don't know what you're talking about. The other guy's right. It's a whammy --->pedal<---. Not a tremolo/whammy bar, but a whammy pedal. Hammer-on alone would not increase the pitch so much. Also, whammy bars are not only used to lower pitch. They can also increase pitch (among many other things).
