Mark Cavendish raced maybe 100 times at this very event. Every Tuesday night (sometimes twice) throughout the summer for many years.

He was totally dominant when he raced here and could even lap the field. He frequently did.

This event is EXACTLY where he started.

And he wasn't always in MRC.

LOL the titles and music make this look like a 1970's tourism advert. Perhaps that was the style they were going for though....

Cav was never in Team Scottish Provident!! (he was Manx Road Club). So he didnt compete in the event being shown. This is PART of cycling in the Isle of Man...but not part of Cav's cycling career.

However, good to see Manx cycling getting an airing on youtube.

The video does not say, nor imply that Mark was in the events or clubs as shown.  It simply states, "Mark Cavendish started here" and shows the level of enthusiam for cycling in the Isle of Man.
