@sbeer6er Excess fuel pumped out behind the nozzles. It's basically a non-optimimized afterburner. They do something similar on some hotrods by squirting jets of gas into the exhaust system (which is also post-combustion).

It's a fun idea and the execution looks pretty amazing.

One quibble: I think that the flames painted on the front/sides of the bus are not only redundant, they also kind of ruin the impact of seeing a vehicle that is supposed to be slow, going really fast. Just my opinion.

That blunt front end will keep it from hitting 350, they'll have to make it look like a supertrain engine or a C-130 front end to run that fast. Also, if (when) air gets squeezed under that body at speeds anywhere near there, whoopsydaisy arse over teakettle away she goes. Looks like it turns maybe 150 at most in this clip. I can see it busting 200 without too much problem. Wouldn't want to drive it without an ejection seat though!
