America should belong to native Indians, this land have been occupied by white men and the white men shamelessly have stayed in this land until today illegally, white men almost slaughtered all the Indians so today Indians don't have much voice to claim their land back, shame on Americans.
Tibetans are a very secluded society still from this world, ive been there once. Their culture is very much attached to Buddhism and they are very peaceful people. I really don't know why Chinese had to go and invade and massacre such a peaceful and a beautiful place as there's nothing you can get in Tibet other than the snowy mountains. Shame on China really!!...btw Brad Pitt was excellent in this amazing movie!

@crazybones2009 Very sorry because we are young, and political education of our history is distorted by powerful politicians cause all the youth of the 21st century this is the West that invited us to slander some things can not change now because there is still an authoritarian state personally I agree with this film is the point of view because I checked the real history is very regrettable even though there are many movies shot some flaws but overall did Mao Zedong is the kind of stupid. . .
This movie is full of lies and even the author of the book of the book has admitted that he made up the entire story after receiving 2 million dollars from the Dalai Lama.
Wow this movie is magnificent with a lot of courage. Brad Pitt did an amazing acting in this movie. It's movie like this that have such an important message. Tibet's struggle for freedom is still never forgotten. What happened in Tibet is a part of history that even China can't erase! :D

About 1-hr-20-min into the film, it showed the communist china's flag & official name but both were wrong. Both shown in the movie belonged to non-existent ROC( short-lived Republic of China, founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen,demised when CKS fled China to occupy Taiwan). Flag shown in movie is red-blue-white, but the ch. flag is all red w/ a few yellow stars.Country name (in Ch characters) showed in movie says "Republic of China (4 Ch characters) yet should be "People's Rep. of China"(7 Ch chrctrs).

Fresh Proof! Premier Wen Jiabo gave proof that Dalai Lama is lying again!
Wen said, the Tibetan leader was now claiming that he never asked for removal of Chinese troops from Tibet. This was a lie because the Dalai Lama had said as much in writing in the United States and in Europe in 1987 and 1988.

I believe the distortion western media will not talk too much about this.
For a brief biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, who is both the head of state and the spiritual leader of Tibet, go to this page
..and when a group of the finest people in the world gives him a NOBEL prise....and even the Pope says he is a great man ....u piece of crap come here to tell he is a nazi ?? ....if i just see u sorry ass face....u little shit
wangtao007cat7 ...i just wanted to say that i saw a comment of yours ....posted one month ago about the Dalai Lama......and i wanted you to know that u are a complete IDIOT .....Heinrich Harre was a mountaineer from a nazi COUNTRY .....not a nazi officer....you complete retard.....so shut the fuck up if u don't have any ideea what the fuck are you saying you pieace of crap ...HE REFUSED to take the naxi flag on the Himalayas .....what the hell this tells u ???
Mistake made in his youth? Yeah, sure. Maybe one day Dalai Lama will realize that escaping into India was also a silly mistake made in his youth.
This movie never mentioned the fact that Dalai Lama had such a close relationship with a Nazi party member. Why did the director hide such an important fact from the audience? Because it will affect Dalai's image in the West. Therefore this movie is nothing but biased propaganda.
I agree, to an extent. The problem is that I see none of the Dalai Lama's priciples which reflect those seen in Nazi organizations. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that.)
Other than that, yeah, the movie is complete propaganda. ;)
Since 1959 His Holiness the Dalai Lama has received over 84 awards, honorary doctorates, prizes, etc, in recognition of his message of peace, non-violence, inter-religious understanding, universal responsibility and compassion.
Truely admirable. :-) If only a portion of the population could take a lesson from such a wonderful being... well, at the risk of falling into cliches, the world would be a better place.

Who cares how many teachers Dalai had?
According to the book and the film Seven Years in Tibet one can clearly see that Heinrich Harrer had lots of interaction and built very strong bonds with Dalai Lama. he even influenced Dalai's way thinking. And Heinrich Harrer was a Nazi, you just can't deny that fact.
So people who love peace, Say no to Nazi, say no to Dalai Lama.
Harrer never denied his involvement with the Nazi party but rather instead stated that it was a mistake made in his youth when he had not yet learned to think for himself.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama met many people and is respected around the world.
Herrer left Europe before the war began. Therfore before any war crimes were comitted. Nobody could have known before the war of the kinds of things the nazi party party would commit. Its not a big deal, its not like he fought for the nazis or took part in any war crimes.. HE DIDNT EVEN FIGHT FOR THE NAZIS!
well, in principle, two wrong doesn't make anything right? But it always amazes me that many are so ignorant at their own ass with smelly shit while trying to educate others about importance of cleanness, always.
I seek the TRUTH and I only want the TRUTH about Tibet told. I see MANY lies on youtube about Tibet. If you see any lies in what I am saying let me know.
oh... ok, thanks for the offer. but I think I do know more than you, kid. Internet does tell truth, videos either. Thanks for your propaganda offer anyway. BUT no thanks.
Well, loving him personally doesn't mean agreeing his political intention or plans. Are people really that naive to equal politics with popularity of single person? Bullshit.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is trying to stop human rights abuses, cultural genocide and environmental destruction in Tibet, because he cares deeply about Tibet, its culture and Tibetans.
The riots in Tibet happened because Tibet needs to be Free from the Han INVADERS and
the chinese communist party's
LOOTING, LYING, TORTURING, KILLING, Cultural Genocide, forced sterilisation (without anaesthetic), disappearances, crazy prison sentences, land confiscation, forced resettlements and more bad things I prefer not to talk about that are still happening today in Tibet.
John Williams creates the most overbearing, schmaltzy musical scores. Weather it's Dragonheart, Dances with Wolves, or ANY Spielberg film, they all numb the listener with the most relentlessly maudlin soundtrack, telling the viewer what to feel at every waking moment. Time will prove his obsolescence. Years from now JW will be looked at as a quaint and loquacious composer whose unrelenting strings will be seen as WAY overly sentimental and obvious .
I guess you haven't heard many John Williams scores then. Also add to the fact that he DID NOT compose Dragonheart or Dances with Wolves. Go and educate yourself a bit.
Dude...John Williams never composed Dragonheart soundtrack! It was Randy Eidelman! Neither Dances with wolves (that was John Barry). I agree that John Williams is a freaking good composer, but please! Check your knowledge before posting something wrong!

Hi brain washed westerners,
Fresh Proof!
Part1: watch?v=HfeRu6quHwc
Part2: watch?v=2uOi08Fppt4
I believe the distortion western media will not talk too much about this.

serbansstar 3 years ago 2
Mistake made in his youth? Yeah, sure. Maybe one day Dalai Lama will realize that escaping into India was also a silly mistake made in his youth.
This movie never mentioned the fact that Dalai Lama had such a close relationship with a Nazi party member. Why did the director hide such an important fact from the audience? Because it will affect Dalai's image in the West. Therefore this movie is nothing but biased propaganda.
wangtao007cat7 3 years ago
I agree, to an extent. The problem is that I see none of the Dalai Lama's priciples which reflect those seen in Nazi organizations. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that.)
Other than that, yeah, the movie is complete propaganda. ;)
BriarsAndBones 3 years ago
Since 1959 His Holiness the Dalai Lama has received over 84 awards, honorary doctorates, prizes, etc, in recognition of his message of peace, non-violence, inter-religious understanding, universal responsibility and compassion.
ChinaKillsNuns 3 years ago
Truely admirable. :-) If only a portion of the population could take a lesson from such a wonderful being... well, at the risk of falling into cliches, the world would be a better place.
BriarsAndBones 3 years ago
For me the question is who do you compare His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama with?
A friend of mine suggested Mandala, Gandhi, Wilberforce, Lincoln and Socrates.
ChinaKillsNuns 3 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Who cares how many teachers Dalai had?
According to the book and the film Seven Years in Tibet one can clearly see that Heinrich Harrer had lots of interaction and built very strong bonds with Dalai Lama. he even influenced Dalai's way thinking. And Heinrich Harrer was a Nazi, you just can't deny that fact.
So people who love peace, Say no to Nazi, say no to Dalai Lama.
wangtao007cat7 3 years ago
Harrer never denied his involvement with the Nazi party but rather instead stated that it was a mistake made in his youth when he had not yet learned to think for himself.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama met many people and is respected around the world.
ChinaKillsNuns 3 years ago
Herrer left Europe before the war began. Therfore before any war crimes were comitted. Nobody could have known before the war of the kinds of things the nazi party party would commit. Its not a big deal, its not like he fought for the nazis or took part in any war crimes.. HE DIDNT EVEN FIGHT FOR THE NAZIS!
mgosse554 3 years ago 2
The white man in the film, Heinrich Harrer was Dalai's teacher. He is a Nazi officer sent by the Hitler Regime.
Dalai Lama is the student of Nazi.
His Holiness? Haha, why don't you call Hitler His Excellence?
wangtao007cat7 3 years ago
How many teachers did the Dalai Lama have?

U.S government is such a smart government. They created the best propaganda machine man has ever made. Block Buster Films.

China is VERY good at doing propaganda. Very few people in the West are aware of just how badly Tibetans in Tibet get treated by China. If you watch
Dispatches Undercover in Tibet (48 mins, on google video)
you can see how bad things are in Tibet.
ChinaKillsNuns 3 years ago
well, in principle, two wrong doesn't make anything right? But it always amazes me that many are so ignorant at their own ass with smelly shit while trying to educate others about importance of cleanness, always.

You seem to know little about Tibet. Perhaps you should watch the first 75 seconds of
Torture in Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story
and get a small dose of the TRUTH about modern Tibet.
Do not trust DISTORTED history books from the chinese communist partys Central Propaganda Department to learn about Tibet.

Many people care about His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Millions of people around the world love His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
ChinaKillsNunsLoots 2 years ago
Well, loving him personally doesn't mean agreeing his political intention or plans. Are people really that naive to equal politics with popularity of single person? Bullshit.
charliezhu01 2 years ago
MWA stands for Middle Way Approach.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is trying to stop human rights abuses, cultural genocide and environmental destruction in Tibet, because he cares deeply about Tibet, its culture and Tibetans.
ChinaKillsNunsLoots 2 years ago
Oh yeah? Does Middle Way Approach include riots?
charliezhu01 2 years ago
The riots in Tibet happened because Tibet needs to be Free from the Han INVADERS and
the chinese communist party's
LOOTING, LYING, TORTURING, KILLING, Cultural Genocide, forced sterilisation (without anaesthetic), disappearances, crazy prison sentences, land confiscation, forced resettlements and more bad things I prefer not to talk about that are still happening today in Tibet.
The Middle Way Approach does not include riots.

Years from now JW will be looked at as a quaint and loquacious composer whose unrelenting strings will be seen as WAY overly sentimental and obvious .
ultimessence 3 years ago
I guess you haven't heard many John Williams scores then. Also add to the fact that he DID NOT compose Dragonheart or Dances with Wolves. Go and educate yourself a bit.
User323232 3 years ago
Dude...John Williams never composed Dragonheart soundtrack! It was Randy Eidelman! Neither Dances with wolves (that was John Barry). I agree that John Williams is a freaking good composer, but please! Check your knowledge before posting something wrong!
