  • I am sorry but you might have malnutrition with 1200 calories. You need more dietary fat in your diet and LESS fruit(sugars, sure no bananas (sugars). When you are going to start eating more calories (sugars) you will gain weight again. How is your belly skin? With more fat and less sugars your skin must become as a young girl. You can lose weight by eating over 3000 calories and stay healthy and slim, when you eat the best food: animal fats. Are you healthy? Will you stay healthy?

  • I'm just wondering,what if you love eating.I eat all the time I feel my digestion getting worst but still love eating,what can I do instead of eat? Any ideas?

    I also love eating but I know I can't eat just anything. I don't eat foods that I know are not good for me such as anything processed. I eat plenty of fresh fruit and veggies, free range beef and poultry. I eat 3 meals a day and no snacking. I try my best to not over eat. I am not always successful.

  • You are such an inspiration! I've just started cutting back on my food/calorie intake too. Although I don't bother counting too closely as it's too time consuming, especially when cooking with lots of different ingredients in one dish. But so far I've lost a kilogram a day, which is amazing for me, and I haven't felt hungry at all! Have also been doing some exercise each day! If I'd known it was this easy I would have started a long time ago! Love your vids! Keep up the great work! ;)

  • Eatting healthy does cost alot more for sure...its a shame really that our society wants obesity to done with but wont come down in prices for healthier food! What do you have for snacks?I have 2 kids so I need to find something healthy for snacks.

    I sure doesn't make sense that healthy fresh foods cost so much and that fast food is so cheap. maddening.

    I have fresh fruit for snacks. It might be hard to get kids to see them as a snack but worth the try. I usually have apples, cut them in wedges to make them easier to eat and enjoy. I know some people dip them in p-nut butter but I don't eat it, good for kids though.

  • I am using cronometer now. As long as I keep my calorie at 1380, is it bad to have an icecream or a sweet included?

  • If you add sugar sweet, you are adding something with little nutrition, also the sweet will spike your blood sugar. try to avoid it.

  • Hey congrats! I have lost 70lbs on the CR diet too! its been 11 months. although, I do not have any specific foods that I restrict. I eat dairy, meat, rice, wheat, everything as long as I stay under the total calories per day.

    I had to give them up, or felt I had to, because they were what I binged on and they also turn to sugar then fat. I don't miss them one bit.

  • I posted a video on how to use the cronOmeter that is a good start to calorie counting.

    I read about CR online and follow the guidelines as well as I can. It is all about eating less and eating high nutrient foods so you body gets what it needs to be in optimal health. The side effect is weight loss. It is not a diet to lose weight but of course you will if you eat less.

    It is recommend to not exercise to lose weight. I didn't. I now exercise to tone because I have lost so much weight

  • no, you must be talking about the clinical edition which is $695. the trial version is free and I think the home user is 34 bucks. I got mine for free

  • It isn't compatible with a mac from what little I read about it. I have been happy with the cronOmeter for 2 years. It works great on my mac.

  • Thats ok.. Did you get in all your water?? Did you eat too much salt yesterday?? Maybe your just retaining a bit... Not to worry! You will be at goal in no time :) Keep it up.. You can do it!

  • I will give it a try but I haven't noticed an after taste with Stevia. I have been told by others that they do notice it.

  • Yes, I have to hide food from him that I plan on using later in the week. He is on to me now, he finds them. We both got a good laugh over it. My husband is a very funny guy or he thinks he is anyway.

  • LOL You are funny. "The longer you stay in bed the less you weigh" made me laugh. I love the "go to bed" advice. I have gone to bed plenty of times when I'm up late and start feeling hungry. You have done a wonderful job with your weightloss. You're a great example!

  • Yep, today I had to stay in bed even longer but I had a loss. It might be considered cheating but I got two benefits from it, more sleep and less fat.:)

    I can't believe those before pics either. Sometimes when I look at them I get very emotional. I never want to see her again.

  • Ha! I relate to that. I don't have any pictures of the fattest me. I threw them all away. Sometimes I regret it. There are moments I wish I would have kept them. However, most of the time I like looking at me now. Recently, someone sent an old pic to me via email at nearly my highest weight. I couldn't put it in the computer trash fast enough. I understand not wanting to see her again. I really do. :-)

  • Very nice video & congrats to you!! Funny how you hide the bad foods from hubby...lol.. Are you counting calories for all the low cal veggies you eat too? Do you write all your calories down during the day? I remember I used to do that years ago but starting obsessing over every bite in my mouth & got all balled up,lol. I think its a real good idea to excercise. Good Luck & hope you enjoy it :)

  • I don't hide bad foods from him, I have to hide foods that are meant for a meal later in the week. Maybe I should hide bad foods from him, but he would just go buy more. He is addicted to breads.

    I don't obsess over food but if I did I don't know if that is a real bad thing. Better to obsess over less than more.

    I have so much left over Christmas baking choc chips etc...that I need to hurry and bake cookies to mail to my husband in Iraq.

    Or..I'll be like your husband and just snack on them! LOL
