I have a MacBookPro of 15 inches, which presented problems with the video card, I am the black screen. It takes it to an authorized center of Apple and they said to me that still it was in guarantee and that including for the people which no.

I love macs and all, but god damn, half of mac users are so technology illiterate, it's insane. To get a bluescreen, you either have to have had a hardware failure, or treating your computer like a nigger.
Or a windows update could give you a BSOD. Usually I stick up for Windows, but not even a week ago I had a Windows update (Windows XP Mind you.) Shut off my PC that night, and the next morning when I started it the blue screen flashed and restarted.
Luckily I haven't had a single problem after that, thankfully the problem sorted itself out. (I plan on upgrading to Win7 if it runs faster then XP on an outdated machine.)

But you did, you took a condescending guess upon me, as if you have a custom PC and I don't. The BSOD could have been caused by my exact configuration, I believe that's a strong possibility, but upon reboot it fixed itself. I will admit this motherboard has a dead on-board video card, but ever since I installed a new card onto it, I haven't had a problem with it.
Also I almost always use a fresh install of Windows on PCs I get. ^_^

If you get Parallels, you can switch between the two and back again in seconds, or even at the same time. Mac lets you have the best of both worlds by letting you have Windows on the same machine :)

also driver issues with mac on windows side isn't Microsofts fault it's Apple's fault. Apple is responsible with how the drivers work on the windows side.
The price is the only thing that scares me away from Macs... My PC would have to mess up a lot more than it does (rarely, for me, and it's Vista if you can believe that) for me to consider it.

many vPC's have 'duel booting' feature (essencially booting the vPC on another partition on a small amount of the current OS, but you never see any of that 'other' OS)

its called getting window washer..... on vista and it goes super fast lol the reason why people hate vista is becuase it stores unnecessary files so if you have window washer it washes every thing out and it works 10* faster than any mac

That guy who's talking to Ponzi doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. I mean, vista is installed on it's own partition, so once it's removed there won't be any traces on Mac OS, plus Apple does a pretty good job of including drivers on the install disk, plus him saying somehow 1 usb for Mac OS is ok, while it's a problem for vista makes no since.
It's not like she's gonna return the Air for a Pro, she bought the computer she wanted and it's a fine computer, I have an Air too.

I know it seems bad at first, but when you look at other notebooks of the same size and weight it is actually quite reasonable. For example, Lenovo makes a similar notebook (same screen size at a higher resolution with an optical disk, but with a smaller hard drive, a slower processor, and about 100 extra dollars on the price tag).
It's not so much that you can't find a netbook that's cheaper, but Apple doesn't try to play in the low end market; it may cost more, but the value/price is similar.

Man if you're looking for portable + windows i have a Acer Aspire One netbook with 1 gb of ram, a intel atom proccessor and a 160 gb hard drive with windows xp. Keyboard is 84 percent the size of a regular keyboard, and it has a 8.9 inch monitor. I love it !

If you get Parallels, you can switch between the two and back again in seconds, or even at the same time. Mac lets you have the best of both worlds by letting you have Windows on the same machine :)

On any computer you have to install the software for any video card on the system in windows. Does that mean that windows isn't meant for pc's that have videocards
also driver issues with mac on windows side isn't Microsofts fault it's Apple's fault. Apple is responsible with how the drivers work on the windows side.

It's not. 3LB definitely is lighter than any current generation 13" laptops... BUT it is hella heavier than it looks. I was surprised how heavy it is when I picked one up for the first time because it's so thin.

A macbook air, jeez, you cant get a damn thing done with that laptops. Its seriously slow. Ive been running a Quad PC for two years and its crashed about three times. I also have a powerbook (old G4) and a new IMAC 24". I like both computers. These people are just stupid and need everything fed to them. Macs are definitely not without problems. Ask any Logic Pro user.
