FF8 was an epic game nomatter what with a very advanced compat system + mindblowing graphics + a very beautifull story line + good looking characters ..

to sum up , FF8 is one of the most beautifull ames everrrrrr !

How is this game not as good as Final Fantasy 7? Why was 7 so good? There was nothing too special about it! 8 was 10 times better! Way sadder...WAY better graphics...better everything! This song, is FABULOUS as an acompany to the great game! 10/10!

graphics isn't everything..its the story that blows your mind away of ff7..=] that is why its by far teh "most cherished final fantasy" :D and what the hell? sephiroth is great! lol

Seph is a complete n00b compared to Kefka (FF6) or Golbez (FF4)... Most people (95% of gamers) don't even understand the storyline of FF7... they just think they do. Same thing goes with FF8. If you THINK you know what the game's about, then you're most likely gravely mistaken.

Go to GameFAQs dot com and read some in-depth plot analysis's of both FF7 and FF8.

For example, did you know Ultimecia and Rinoa are the same person? That's just the basics.
