Virgil Hill is such a beast. He even got off the canvas against Roy Jones after having multiple ribs broken from arguably the hardest body shot in history.

This is probably Hearns' last great fight.

Something that Manny Steward said years ago is true, Hearns was always able to deal with boxers, it was brawlers that gave him trouble.

Virgil Hill is a superb technical boxer with a fine chin and proved his worth by reigning for years as champ after this fight.

Hearns was such a different fighter as a light heavy. He wasn't the big puncher but had a better chin and used the left hook a lot more.

Virgil Hill doesn't get enough credit. Not from everyone. He knocked out James Kinchen in one round while Tommy barely beat Kinchen on points. While he never was a knockout artist, many of his knockouts have been memorable and against quality opponents.
