Forget the graphics please the game graphics is awesome just boost the graphics up to 200% or more "if your vid card can handle it" . I hope some one can post that ubber graphics. Me card can not handle both game and the fraps
My thoughts exactly. I'm hoping everything will be ok, but the way it's going now, the combat system starts to get old after a while. And for people who say "It's still the beta": I'm sorry, but they aren't going to completely revamp the combat system 2 weeks before launch. Space isn't bad, but ground fighting is HORRIBLE. I really really hope that they do something drastic or better yet, wait. Don't rush it. Please take a few more months to make some major changes. I'd rather wait...

I don't know. Look at all the WoW people. Those people are starting to grow tired of it or at least some of them are. Finished all the quests, made every character, done every pvp sequence. I think the opinion on console games is because of the trend to make games that are easy to play on a standard controller for console games.
While the trend for PCs is to make games that require more complex controls. Strategy and Sim games for example, that you don't usually see on consoles.

My god some sense. I agree 100%. There's now enough MMORPGs out there for whatever you're into, just choose one and play it and enjoy it. In the end it doesn't matter how it is on subscribers vs other MMOs as long as in the end, you're having fun and playing with friends. To set the record straight Perpetual Entertainment doesn't own the code, a South Korean company called Gravity does, it was a deal Perpetual done to get some extra cash into the game, but obviously they didn't read the small print

if u mean Legacy, than you're right, that was a total bust but i believe that this online game has a lot of potential and if the creators get dedicated fan help for the plot and scenery, than it should be a game to remember.
It's actually looking that way, as well as everybody needing an incredibly fast net connection speed. They want, the developers, to have every player on the one server and every player to have their own ship.
I'd love for this game to be everything it can be and more but they aren't being realistic. Not everybody has the money for high speed computers just to play it...even barely.
It would be cool walking around and running to stations onboard a Akira class battleship.

Anything big and flashy either has to be REALLY unique AND ACCESSIBLE(Guild Wars), TOO EASY(WoW) to fail at, or TORTOISE V. THE HARES (EvE).

Also people like Carids (Obsidian order) Romulans and Klingons doing secret ops, sabotage, spying etc. Maybe even Section 31 vs StarFleet.

You haven't been keeping up with EVE's pull away from industry standards...
Fanfest 2008 display next year's changes that will make sure EVE is not the game anyone has quite played before.
Graphics work, server work, content expansions as fast as they can...EVE's soon going to be the big dog, permanently.
Try it out march 11th 2009 and see.

To whom? $15 is industry standard for high-quality products.
1-It's cheaper by the longterm subscription.
2-Expansions are all free.(glares at WoW)
3-You can pay with ingame money(great new ingame tool also). The players have made that cheaper due to competition also.
4-Use the buddy program to get longer trial and some free gametime.
At this point they are bending over backwards.

Meeperation you got the Rumour wrong!!!!! you said Perpetual Entertainment owns the code and that's why the new game company has to start from scratch.
To set the record straight Perpetual Entertainment doesn't own the code, a South Korean company called Gravity does, it was a deal Perpetual done to get some extra cash into the game, but obviously they didn't read the small print

Video is fake most of the video is from St Legacy.. Only a few screen shots are from StarTrek Online.
BTW:
Perpetual Entertainment is no longer making star trek online, Its game been sold off to another company but not the code, so looks like the new company has to start from scratch.
Ands its all thanks to the South Korean company Gravity for causing the problem as it was there greed that made it happen.

if u mean Legacy, than you're right, that was a total bust but i believe that this online game has a lot of potential and if the creators get dedicated fan help for the plot and scenery, than it should be a game to remember.

It's actually looking that way, as well as everybody needing an incredibly fast net connection speed. They want, the developers, to have every player on the one server and every player to have their own ship.
I'd love for this game to be everything it can be and more but they aren't being realistic. Not everybody has the money for high speed computers just to play it...even barely.
