So many of them steam engines has a lot of live left in them I still can't believe some that where built in the late 1950s only worked for 5 five years and that could have don 30 to 40 years.

Looking at this video and seeing the notes on some steam locos at Barry Scrapyard, it's amazing from an Aussie's point of view that almost all those locos were saved! :-O Here in Aus, it seems that most groups considered a steam loco as scrapped the moment it went to Simsmetal or similar. In comparison to the English, we saved only a fraction of the number of trains, trams and buses! So much good stuff destroyed! :-(
