Look, I like animals. Actually, hyenas are prety good subjects for my drawings. But I do my research. And overall, hyenas aren't the most cuddliest or most honorable mammals I've seen. Not even close. Everyday weasels, on the other hand, can be cute. But not these things. Let's face it: hyenas do make for pretty good "villains" of the animal kingdom, wherther 'the media' portrays them as such or not.

Actually hyenas are very rather skilled hunters, having a significantlly higher sucess rate then lions, who more often then not scavenge from other predators of Africa, including hyenas.

And many predators will scavenge, which is actually necessary. Not just hyenas.

No actually, hyenas are far superior predators than lions are and lions scavenge from hyenas more that hyenas scavenge from lions. Often what looks like hyenas scavenging is just them trying to get their well earned kill back. Infact the only animals that are more successful hunters in Africa than hyenas are not a big cat but the African Wild Dog and they hunt so well they all but never scavenge.

Ive seen this entire documentary, this Lioness was injured by another Pack of Lionesses, they left her and then the Hyenas finished of her misery and later started to eat her and leave nothing left...
