Well previous, if you don't understand why this song gives you that feeling than you don't understand music. Myself, being a musician, would know this. It's what an artist lusts for. To find these particular combinations of chords, notes, and rhythm to give you that feeling. Personally i don't really like this song, and I've never even heard of the artist before. I like bands like Nomak, Nujabes, Nas, Dj Okawari, Uyama Hiroto, and so on. I am also a heavy pot smoker. and i like footjobs.
..personally, I don't believe you have to "understand" music in order to strike a chord of emotion within you. Feeling's not about understanding it; plus, wouldn't you think that you as a musician would simply just be happy that someone's responding positively to music?
