  • theyre back at it again this sunday - a year later xD

  • You are such an idiot, there you are saying that opinion and fact are separate entities, then you go use opinion to back up your point. The funny thing is i think Rafa AND Roger are incredible, you seem to have a seriously dire case rafatard syndrome. I wouldnt be surprised if your a closet Sampras maniac too.

  • You simply cannot sit there and say Rafa had the mental game on grass to be Roger at Wimbledon in 07' and 06' especially. There is a reason why it took three attempts and the game of his life to win. He was bagelled in the first game in 2006, now if thats good mental strength, im fucking chuck norris.

  • In fact, yes, we can say that Nadal had the game to defeat Federer at Wimbledon in 2006 or 2007... otherwise, those 2 finals wouldn´t have been that good...

  • I hope you havent got that rafa nadal thong in a twist.

  • dreams come true lol...

  • I do really dislike the way commentators obsess over exhaustion and fatigue as an excuse, yes there is SOME element of tiredness but these players are professionals playing week in week out, they can deal with the strain because they are in great shape. Federer played really clever tennis in this match, drawing nadal to the net where he is weakest, Federer can beat nadal comfortably if he mixes his shots up.

  • @fujifour - Completely agree with you man.

  • I like the way the commentator suddenly came up with excuses for Nadal's loss. Almost like it is impossible for him to ever lose fairly and squarely. "Federer still a force to be reckoned with" Haha, the No. 1 player for over 250 weeks and 15 time slam champion and he calls that "still a force to be reckoned with"

    Stupid moron.

  • Roger Federer is the best tennis player of the all times!!!

    nadal is the worst!!! 4ever!!!

    ROGERFEDERERISTHEBESTTENNISPLAYER

  • what?- Nadal does do that all the time. Everyone is different. Djokovic used to bounce the ball before serving like 20 times a while back.

  • why are u calling him a cunt? I hate how most people resort to calling others dicks or other things when they're not legitimate insults related to them.

  • i hate nadal ways of scratching his butt while playing

  • the master, the genius, the best of the best, Federer is back!!!!!

  • well ur dream came true buddy lol

  • everyone who calls federer an idiot: nadal was beaten by an idiot.

    GO ROGER!!!

  • for me, I don't think Rafa beat Roger at his very best...

  • yea and he beat him while he was sad. imagine if he wasn't. nadal will be the one who's sad

  • wow u ignorant prick...

  • I totally agree, i dont think either player has played each other when they have been at their best. The two Wimbys Fed won - Nadal was still a youth in terms of mental strength and experience. But then Federer was in a slump during AO 09' and Wimbledon 08' - he still took him to the 5th though, Roger and Rafa are true warriors

  • i think the first wimbledon final is the match where in my opinion they both were on their best shape (or closest to it). roger won it that time, by just a little.

i think that federer would win against virtually anyone playing his best. thats because he hits shots you really just cant reach.

nadal makes you run untill you die.

because of that i think, if they met at their very best, fed would win, because nadal just would not be able to handle accuracy.

    no matter what surface

  • Both Nadal and Federer were at their best during all of their matches in 2006, except, maybe, the 2006 Roland Garros final...

  • ''Nadal was still a youth in terms of mental strength''

Nadal has been in his prime since 2005... Nadal defeated Federer in 6 of their first 9 meetings in the period comprised from 2004 to 2006... I guess that you knew that, didn't you?

  • I did and i stick by my opinion.

  • Well, I´m sorry dude, but the statistics don´t support your opinion... there is the perception of the being, and there is the reality, and both ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS...

  • And you realize most were on clay courts, didn't u?

  • Of course I do... but Nadal has also thumped Federer on normal courts, in their 1st meeting (Miami 2004), didn´t you know?

  • @alwaysskate - Nadal played his best match ever to beat Federer at wimbledon last year and also played probably his best tournament and playing his best ever on a hard court against verdasco and federer at the aussie open so thats bullshit.

  • I didn't say that Nadal did not play his best tournament...I said that Roger didn't play his best when Rafa bet him

  • @alwaysskate - OOhhh sorry man my mistake, yes u are correct lol. : ) sorry

  • You're right, in Wimbledon 2008 Federer didn't play his best in the final, he made too many unforced errors. In this year's Aussie Open final, Federer didn't play bad, in fact he was the more dominant player on the court, he made more points than Nadal did, but unfortunately couldn't win most of the big points.

  • He played well @ Aussie final, but his first serve % wasn't good enough

  • as a matter of fact look a federer's serving stats for that wimby and '09 aussie open and they are way below par for him

  • @alwaysskate wimbeldon 2008

  • @tetelung That wasn't at his very best.. Had it been his best, he wouldn't have dropped the first two sets.

  • I love Federer and Nadal - they are great sportsmen - the respect they have for each other despite their rivalry. They are a great example to other sportsmen.

  • vamos FEDERER , hazlo otra vez

  • Vamos rafa, he's the best!!!!

  • fuck you nadal bull shit

    in spanish:

    que te jodan gilipollas

  • I hated the fact that Nadal won vs Djokovic. Het was the better player in the semifinal. Go Federer!

  • i hope this gets federer's confidence back up again. he may not say it publicly but this was a HUGE win for the swiss. how far will this cary him? who knows but it wouldn't surprise me if he reached the finals but beating Rafa would be monumental to say the least. GO FEDERER!

  • i think this match will be enough to get federer back on track, but not enough to win the french. nadal had to be at least a little fatigued from his epic with djokovic the day before and he seemed sorta sluggish. i got nadal, FO champ 5th year in a row.

  • wohoooo!!
