Toshiba is a piece of crap. I was sold this Toshiba Satellite L350 by Staples Business Depot.Within a few days of purchase there was a large piece of glue between the display screen and the clear plastic cover. This machine is not a year old:there are now 6 pieces of glue between the display and the clear plastic cover.I called Toshiba customer service and was cut off 4 times. These companies are criminals selling crap for profit margin. The best we can do is not buy from Toshiba or its associates.
TrackIR/freetrack already does a very similar thing. This is just the obvious advancement of that same existing technology. What's not so obvious will be figuring out a way to do this same thing without having some stupid massive black box on your head.
they showed demos of similar technologies for the wii and ps3 system called "desktop vr" but this looks like it works a lot better.
this is going to be the future of digital vision for things like computers and gaming, not so much for television and movies, but its definitively technology we are going to see within the house hold in the next 20 years. maybe even longer.
it might not be something so inconvenient that you have to put it on your head every time, but the idea is definite.
This looks like somekind of 3D effect helmet. I did not understand it as it was not in English but looks interesting. I'd like to hear the English version.

They should make a light weight helmut like for flying jets or race cars that would look less goofy.

That looks really unconvertible to play with. Like playing with a TV on your head. Also it be very bad on your eyes being that close to the screen.
