  • Ok so i just bought a pocket watch today and it wont wind. it only changes time. Like the stem will be down and it doesnt wind. and if its up. still doesnt wind. Can you help? Thanks

  • @piercen10 Hi. Please retire the dial and check the clutch/transmision and canion pinion. Also check the spring lever. Maybe your mainspring is broken?. Desmounting and mounting is my better help. Hope you find fun. VFROWNER

  • @Telshac Thanks !! Comments are my support, make a video its nor easy because, irony, i have not enought time to all. Camera, as i say in credits is a SONY DSC N2 with diverse kinds of lenses. I´ss try to use a JVC to make video and a Casio F Series to make a ultra slow motion vid for the escape wheel and anchor working together... Thanks again

  • I have just begun to tinker with old "dollar" type pocket watches and find it very gratifying to get one of the old clunkers running again. I can only imagine what it must feel like to see the beauties you deal with returned to running condition. I eagerly look forward to your videos because they are an inspiration for me.

  • im just learning >.> im guessing dont take it apart like that for a starter lol all the parts have a corresponding part, so i can accidently put the wronmg one back in the wrong spot? and how on earth do u know what a certain part is called , and than go about finding it? ><
